		PV Public Policy In legislative initiatives, we work directly with governmental and regulatory authorities, as well as other organizations and coalitions, to promote member interests in tax, tariff, export control, education, and competitiveness. In trade, we build on SEMI’s considerable track record in influencing world trade agreements that have fostered semiconductor and display industry growth. The PV Group works closely with a variety of industry associations to achieve member goals, including the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA), the Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association (JPEA), the Solar Energy Industry Association (SEIA), and many others. Unlike other organizations, however, the SEMI PV Group is the only industry group that is global in scope and focused exclusively on the materials, equipment, and manufacturing supply chain.
